Quiet cut to arts education

As though the loss of the visual arts program and the undermining of the Visual Scholarship Initiatve aren’t enough, here’s a College program that has been cut with no fanfare: the Out There Arts Program, which offered a limited number of grants for classes and small groups to experience Atlanta’s theatres, symphonies and art galleries. The operative principle seems to be that students won’t miss what they’ve never been exposed to.
